Team 1 Philosophy

Team 1 was founded in 1992 on the basis that all drivers (new, seasoned, or professional) should have access to the same level of race equipment in the hobby shop as a major sponsored driver would. You will never receive a motor or product that would not be run by any of our drivers. A key note for Team 1 and we believe no other race team or manufacturer can claim this: All team drivers build their own motors, there is no such thing as "team" level motors. Each and every motor put into a hobby shop is hand built and tuned as if we were to put it in our own race cars. If we wouldn't run the motor or use the product, it does not go out for sale. All motors are built by race team members who know the current motor technology and tuning methods. Besides, how many other "teams" will help you rebuild or further tune your motor right at the track? But remember, the fastest motor and best equipment won't get you first across the finish line unless you practice and then practice some more. And most of all...it's a hobby!   Let's have fun!
